Head of Digital

  • The Head of Digital is responsible for improving the capabilities and standards of the agency’s digital media department. He/she leads the department to develop, implement and measure digital media strategies and solutions to meet client’s objectives. He/she needs to have a clear understanding of different digital marketing channels and media tools to be able to guide the department on emerging practices, latest trends on technologies, applying methodologies, streamlining processes and analysing results

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Shape the company’s future digital offering and ensure the department’s digital capabilities aligns with the overarching business goals
  • Elevate the digital media department’s standards by identifying and introducing best practices, tools, processes and strategic partnerships
  • Research digital media trends and make innovative recommendations in collaboration with various external departments as part of a larger integrated campaign strategy
  • Assist in the development of channel mix recommendations for digital media campaigns across search, social, programmatic, display, mobile, rich media, online video, audio, etc
  • Set progression milestones and provide adequate training for the team
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and delivery of digital strategy to ensure quality execution, along with talent and performance management
  • Generate insights, analysis, and interpretation from research and available data derived from owned platforms and media tools
  • Contribute to the business growth by pitching digital capabilities to potential clients and being involved in pitches that require digital media strategy


  • 8+ years of comprehensive digital media planning and buying experience with expert knowledge on multiple digital channels
  • 5+ years experience in developing and implementing digital media strategies
  • Skillful in planning, buying, measuring and optimizing campaigns through Google Marketing Platform and Facebook Blueprint
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, programmatic, analytics, online research tools and web-based technologies
  • Experience working in an integrated company with multiple departments involved
  • Exceptional presentation and written/verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to lead and grow the team’s ability while working in deadline-oriented environment
