About the Opportunity

Title: Charter Coordinator This position is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Chab Dai created the Charter in 2011 in order to give our members and ourselves common set of 15

principles to work towards, grouped under four core values: Protection, Participation, Transparency and

Collaboration. To us, it means always striving for best practice when it comes to supporting survivors of abuse in all its forms, and doing this together as a coalition.

As Charter Coordinator you will work to support the Coalition Project and the life cycle of all Charter activities. You will ensure that the signed Charter Members receive comprehensive support during their self-assessment, regular contact via follow up meetings and full development of their Improvement Action Plans (IAPs). You will also work with the consultant of the Charter Database and make sure the system is fit for purpose - for analysis and storage of all Charter Members information.

This role reports to the Coalition Project Manager and is a full-time post.

Organizational Collaboration

Chab Dai’s work is comprised of four main areas of work, or what we are calling “thematic areas.” These are: Movement Building, Systems Strengthening, Community Empowerment, and Survivor Restoration. Chab Dai encourages communication between and integration across all areas. The ideal candidate for this position will be prepared to work closely with members of all thematic areas and operating support functions, such as Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and Monitoring & Evaluation.

Duties

  • Liaise with the wider Coalition team, Consultants, Charter Members, Partners and Stakeholders
  • and to assist in planning themes & activities.
  • Facilitate the Charter Self-Assessment process which includes:

o    (i) Charter Pre-Consultation Meeting,

o    (ii) Baseline Assessment,

o    (iii) Final Assessment and analysis, feeding back any Improvement Action Plans (IAP)

o    (iv) Finalize the total scoring of IAPs to Charter Members and share it with Charter Members.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups, monitoring, evaluation and support that the Charter Member needs based on their Improvement Action Plans (IAP). This could be via field visits, emails and phone calls and update all information into the Charter Database.
  • Undertake field visits to Coalition Members and promote the Charter to New Charter Members.
  • Conduct Charter feedback meetings once year with all signed Charter Members (using Google forms). Consolidate all updated information and share with the Charter Members and within the project.
  • Produce the Charter monthly outcome report and track all Charter Information into
  • Charter tracking list.
  • Plan and implement daily work plans and deliver within project budgets.
  • Produce the Coalition Bi-Annual and annual report.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the Charter Officer and relevant staff to ensure team is tracking toward the strategic goals of Charter.
  • Schedule monthly meeting with Charter Officer and team for action items, next steps, and review.
  • Update the Charter Database and with the Charter Officer upload all Self-Assessment, Follow Up Meeting, Pre-Consultation Meeting details into the Charter Database.
  • Provide Charter Database Training to new and current Charter Members and relevant
  • Chab Dai staff.
  • Update the Charter Materials such as Charter Tree, Facilitator Guideline, Charter Participant Book and Charter Manual Book in both Khmer and English.
  • Identify high quality Charter Members to receive the Chab Dai recognition and reward.
  • Supervise the Charter Officer by conducting (i) Check-Ins Meeting, (ii) evaluation performance both bi-annually and annually, and (iii) submit evaluation performance to the Coalition Project Manager.
  • Support the Charter Officer to produce the Charter Report and report to Project Manager.
  • Be member of the Deloitte Champions team and support Chab Dai staff to use the Deloitte tools.
  • Assist the Coalition Project Manager to meet visitors/organizations to share news about the Charter.
  • Represent Chab Dai at internal and external meetings and events including staff meetings,
  • staff retreat.
  • Attend the monthly Coalition Project Meeting and the bi-annual Members meeting both in
  • Phnom Penh and the Province.
  • Any other tasks given by the Coalition Project Manager.

Requirements

o    Strong interpersonal skills and confident to liaise and negotiate with international counterparts.

o    Fluency in spoken and written English.

  • Requirements & Qualifications:

o    Bachelor Degree in International Relations, Communications, Information Technology,

o    or related field.

o    Good communication skills in both English and Khmer (spoken and written).

o    years of experience with data entry and comfortable working with data and metrics.

o    Ability to approach difficult subjects with diplomacy.

o    Experience in group facilitation and team work.

o    Good time management.

o    Proficiency in IT systems (Microsoft, Google, Databases).

About the Opportunity

This position is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with travel to the provinces

Our Community-Based Client Care (CBCC) team has been working with survivors for over decade. They have helped individuals reintegrate back into their communities after trafficking and exploitation situations.

As CBCC-Counselor need to provide service as; counseling, additional resource package support, cooperate with local authority officer, record survivor information in form and in VCMS database system. S/he also need to assist of the administrative task of project.as well.

This role reports to the CBCC- Project Manager and is a full-time post.

  • Provide direct counseling support for survivor in community (8 cases)
  • Phone call to survivor, family and local authorities for counseling session.
  • Refer survivor or family to get additional service support.
  • To involve the check-in meeting, join the peer group and execute the External Supervision
  • To buy family package for family and survivor.
  • Assist to buy counseling material and project stationery.
  • Record information of counseling session in the form to keep in file and enter into VCMS database system.
  • Prepare the Internal Report to report to send to Project manager.
  • Join case meeting with project and program
  • Involve and assist to prepared project/program meeting and spiritual retreat.
  • Prepare activities plan and Internal Report to report to Project manager through Assistant project manager.
  • Assist to do administrative tasks (Cash advance, Cash settlement, Direct Payment, Reimbursement)
  • Assist to cooperate local authority and MoSAVY/ DoSAVY officers
  • Assist to prepare Survivor Care Forum
  • Assist as a part of doing work planning, budget plan and annual report.
  • To attend Chab Dai meetings and trainings as required by the position.
  • Any other tasks as required by the Project Manager

Requirements

  • Key Attributes:

o    Counselor is a good communication with stakeholder and must be good at active listening skill, empathy, patient and empowering. S/he must be honest and well organize in team work. S/he must be adaptable with any social events. And, s/he need to be Integrity with team work and survivor and respectful to their right and value.

  • Requirements & Qualifications:

o    Graduate Master degree of Social work, BA in Psychology

o    Completed Family therapy course

o    years of experience in working on counseling and education with survivors and family in community.

o    Professional of counseling skill support survivor directly in community

o    Good communicate skill of (writing and speaking) in Khmer and English

o    Good relationship and collaboration with local authorities, government officials, and team work.

o    Good computer skills in Microsoft office, email and internet.

o    To be available to travel and staying over-night at province.

About the Opportunity

This position is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Frequently Travel to Provinces)

This position is responsible for providing transportation services to project staff and survivors in a timely and safe manner as assigned by project staff to all project target areas as needed. The driver will ensure that activities are carried out smoothly and ensuring guaranteeing that vehicles are maintained and ready for use, amongst other logistic related duties.

This position reports to the Project Manager and is a full-time post.

  • Vehicle maintenance - Clean car. check, Inspection, repairing car coordination
  • Comply with safety and security driving policies and the traffic laws.
  • Assist and support the logistics for project activities in the field.
  • Pick up survivors from the airport.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays if required
  • Delivery staff travel to provinces and in Phnom Penh
  • Documents delivery and coordinate with other tasks by staff offered.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

o    Display sensitivity when working with Survivors and their families.

o    Can work under the pressure.

  • Requirements & Qualifications:

o    Technical / driving license.

o    Ability in vehicle maintenance and driving on rough, rural road as well as city roads.

o    Can read and write in Khmer clearly.

o    Can read and write in English.

o    At least two-year relevant driving experience.
